Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. in Lexington Park, MD seeks an entry‑level electrical engineering analyst to perform technical analyses, support circuit and system modeling, and contribute to prototyping and documentation efforts. You will work under senior engineers, in cross‑functional teams, and assist with test plans and procedures.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in electrical or related field and 2+ years of experience. US citizenship is required with potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering or science discipline required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
• Experience with national or military standards preferred.
• Must be a US citizen; ability to obtain a security clearance will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
• Exercise judgement in determining required on task details and in making recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
• Perform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
• Perform entry-level electrical engineering technical analysis solving problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
• Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
• Work in integrated product teams of diverse technical disciplines
• Support circuit and systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Support electronic systems design, development prototyping, and manufacturing
• Support electronic performance specification validation
• Support the development of technical procedures, instructions, reports and other documentation
• Support other Research & Development activities
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training:

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance will be required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary:

The projected salary range for this position is $89,000 - $99,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
