Job summary

A leading multi-disciplined engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 1-5 years of experience in an MEP consulting environment. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, laying out electrical systems using AutoCAD, and coordinating with architects for compliance. This full-time position offers excellent benefits, including medical, 401k, and vacation time.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years’ experience working in an MEP consulting environment.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Experience with power lighting and electrical design projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and process shop drawings.

Job Description and Duties:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• NJ code knowledge
• Experiences with electrical load calculations.
• Experience working on power lighting, distribution, and electrical design projects
• EIT or PE is preferred
• 1-5+ years’ experience working in an MEP consulting environment
• Shop Drawings review & process
• Layout electrical systems using auto cad
• Coordinate with architects and engineers for compliance
• Documentation of all shop & project drawings
• Team player with good communication skills.
