Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking an Electrical Technician/Junior Designer to support the design, layout, and analysis of motor control centers, switchboards, panelboards, and other power-distribution systems.

You will prepare electrical documentation and assist with protection and control work. This role involves coordinating with project teams to ensure safety and compliance, supporting factory testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing clear project reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on experience as electrical technician, junior designer, or similar role.
• Familiarity with industrial control panels, motor control centers, and low-voltage power distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with CAD and electrical analysis software is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Job description

Prepare electrical documentation, support protection and control work, ensure compliance and safety, and assist with factory testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project reporting.

Requirements:

Candidates should have at least two years of hands-on experience in an electrical technician, junior designer, or similar role, with familiarity in industrial control panels, motor control centers, and low-voltage power distribution. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is expected; familiarity with CAD and electrical analysis software is a plus, and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
