Job summary

Engineering Design & Testing Corp. (EDT) is seeking an Electrical Engineer for on-site inspections and investigations of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The role involves client interaction, project management, and preparing analytical reports for various losses and facility types.

The candidate should hold a P.E. license and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with proficiency in MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficient with engineering software (MathCAD, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage investigations of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Inspect electrical installations on-site and assess equipment.
• Prepare written reports summarizing analyses and findings.
• Interact with clients and other consultants to coordinate projects.
• Manage multiple, unique projects and meet deadlines.

Electrical Engineer

Technical Atlanta, GA, US

Salary Range: $130,000.00 To $180,000.00 Annually

Candidate should reside in the state of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama or Florida. Candidate will complete inspections on-site.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will conduct and manage investigations involving residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems; examine and assess electrical equipment and components; and conduct fire origin and cause investigations. You will interact with clients and other consultants, manage multiple, unique projects, and prepare written reports summarizing your analyses.

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics)
