Job summary

Evergreen Engineering®, Inc. is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging industrial projects and develop your skills in designing electrical systems.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, layout, and detailed development of electrical systems for a variety of projects, ranging from moderate to complex in scope. Position Roles

• Gain experience with design of industrial electrical systems including 3D modeling, one‑line drawings, grounding drawings, wiring drawings, conduit and cable tray routing, electrical specifications, instrument lists, motor lists, transformers, grounding and bonding, switchgear, MCCs, and control systems
• Learn to do arc flash short‑circuit analysis using Easypower software
• Perform field data collection of existing systems and equipment
• More experienced candidates will have additional engineering and project engineering opportunities

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Desired knowledge in areas including electrical power design and distribution, grounding and bonding, electrical control systems, electrical specifications, and P&IDs
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Easypower is desired
• Previous engineering or electrical construction experience is a plus

Schedule and Benefits

• Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with flexible schedule options. Initial preference is to be in‑office, with available telecommuting or hybrid options after adequate onboarding
