Job summary

Mindlance client seeks a Sr. Project Engineer / Engineer III to support utility-scale Solar, BESS, and Solar + BESS projects in North Carolina. You will lead engineering activities from design through construction, commissioning, and turnover, coordinating engineering teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Requirements include a B.S. in Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience. Senior Engineer requires 5+ years with a PE or 6+ years without PE.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years with PE or 6+ years without PE (Senior level).
• Field-based role with travel to NC project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities from design through turnover.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Resolve technical issues and guide project execution.
• Support scope, schedule, quality, cost, interfaces, and risk management.
• Travel 25–50% to project sites in North Carolina.
