Actalent seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop embedded electronic systems for next-generation products. You will own hardware development from schematic capture through PCB layout, bring-up, integration, testing, and production support while collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers.

Responsibilities include designing mixed-signal electronics, developing PCB schematics in Altium Designer, and supporting prototype builds and manufacturing transitions.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years experience in electrical engineering, PCB design and mixed-signal electronics.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer for PCB development.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and PoE.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred; internships count as experience.
• Experience with embedded systems, especially STM32 and embedded Linux.
• Interest in building products from the ground up and influencing product architecture.

• Support prototype builds, manufacturing transitions and DFM initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, automation technologies and AI-assisted workflows.

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced embedded electronic systems for next-generation products. This role will own hardware development from schematic capture through PCB layout, bring-up, integration, testing, and production support while collaborating closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers.

• Evaluate and implement new engineering tools, automation technologies, and AI-assisted development workflows.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years experience in electrical engineering, PCB design, digital, and analog electronics with 6-8 layer designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Familiarity with Altium Designer for PCB development.

• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and PoE.

• Comfortable in a client-facing role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred, and internships can count as experience.

• Experience working with embedded systems, particularly STM32 and embedded Linux platforms.

• Interest in building products from the ground up and influencing product architecture and customer success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
