Job description

Bevi is on a mission to transform how beverages are delivered and consumed. Our connected beverage platform eliminates the need for single‑use bottles and cans, making it easy, fun, and sustainable to stay hydrated. As the category leader in IoT‑enabled beverage technology, we’re building a future where Bevi machines are everywhere people live, work, and connect. We have raised over $160M in venture capital, serve thousands of customers across the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, and are saving over 1 billion bottles from waste.

We are searching for an Electrical Engineer who is excited to work on our hardware product with a cloud‑based back‑end and help bring new ideas from prototype to production. We’re looking for someone who has worked with PCBA designs that include networking, sensing and interfacing with other hardware components, who is ready to jump in and help continually improve our existing products as well as support the development of the next‑generation products.

Responsibilities
  • Work cross‑functionally to develop reliable, high‑quality products
  • Develop circuits and PCB designs including power, high‑speed digital, RF, and networking circuits
  • Be involved in all steps of the electrical engineering process, from establishing design specifications to product launch, including validation and sustaining efforts
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop requirements, specifications, and validation plans
  • Support design compliance with EMI/EMC and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Generate electrical schematics, layout exports, drawings, and BOMs for PCBAs, and manage ECOs in the PLM system
  • Perform electrical failure investigations by gathering data and using root cause analysis techniques
  • Work with Project Managers to clearly communicate status updates, challenges, and timing impacts
  • Help develop best practices for reliability and quality of electrical subsystems
  • Support the broader product development lifecycle by providing electrical engineering expertise
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field with 3+ years of industry experience in product development (consumer/industrial), sustaining, or technology exploration in Robotics, Networking, Sensing, IoT, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of best practices for circuit design, including multi‑layer PCBs, high‑speed signaling, RF, and embedded systems
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions that integrate electrical and mechanical components
  • Working knowledge of signal acquisition and analysis tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, data loggers, and spectrum analyzers
  • Hands‑on experience in PCB bring‑up, debugging, and validation, including the ability to rework SMT/TH components
  • Familiarity with DFM and DFT as they relate to PCBA design and component selection
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance (e.g., FCC, CE, UL)
  • Working knowledge of firmware development (C/C++); PLC programming is a plus
  • Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team‑oriented approach to problem solving and knowledge generation
  • Experience working in rapidly growing and scaling companies is a plus
  • Ability to be in the office 3+ days per week

Pay Range: $101,660 — $125,580 USD

Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance plans with BlueCross BlueShield, 95% paid by employer
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible PTO plus 12 company holidays, and additional paid days for sick leave, etc
  • Generous fully paid parental leave for both birth parents and non‑birth parents
  • Fully employer paid disability and life insurances
  • Wellness and fitness reimbursements
  • Monthly stipends for cell phone use and commuting costs
  • Onsite snacks, weekly catered lunch, and unlimited Bevi refreshments plus composting and recycling initiatives
