Job summary

Haigh-Farr Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to design high-performance hardware and test systems using SerDes, I2C, SPI, UART, FPGA and embedded processors. The role emphasizes mixed-signal design, testing and reliability in a premier aerospace environment.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced team, building and validating high-voltage switching and DC-DC converter circuits for mission-critical aerospace applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on Lab experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• U.S. citizenship required, with ability to possess a security clearance

• Design state-of-the-art mixed signal electronic systems in our Advanced Products Group.
• Conduct testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Summary:

Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. Haigh-Farr plans to further grow our team and capabilities to meet increasing demand and to expand into new markets and antenna technologies.

Haigh-Farr is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design high-performance hardware. You will build and test systems using SerDes, I2C, SPI, UART, DC-DC converters, FPGAs, embedded microprocessors, and high-voltage switching.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design state of the art mixed signal electronic systems in our Advanced Products Group.
• Conduct testing to ensure performance & reliability.
• Analyze and solve problems as they arise.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Communication Protocols: 10G+ SerDes, I2C, SPI, UART.
• Power & Switching: high power DC-DC converters, high-voltage high-speed switch design fundamentals.
• Processing: FPGA and embedded microprocessor circuit design
• Engineering: Schematic design, capture and hardware verification.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
