You will contribute to the Navy's mission by designing, fabricating, testing electronic systems and collaborating with stakeholders, while staying current with emerging trends in sensors, signal processing and software tools such as LabVIEW and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with sensors, data acquisition, and signal processing desirable.

• Designs, tests, inspects, and updates electronic systems and software.

• Drafts specifications, instructions, and reports.
• Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure projects meet specifications.

As an Electronics Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Navy. You will play a crucial role in upgrading, designing, implementing and testing advanced systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs, fabricates, modifies, and evaluates electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices.

Designs, test, inspect, and update electronic systems, components, equipment along with software.

Analyze customer needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing an electrical system plan or product.

Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.

Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.

Draft specifications, instructions, and reports.

Partner with other internal and/or external stakeholders as well as clients to ensure projects are successfully completed to specifications.

Stay abreast of emerging trends and technology.

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $94,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
