BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmillher Group, seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform electrical design, analyze engineering problems with manufacturing feasibility in mind, and resolve issues that impact cost and operation.
Essential duties include design/alteration of moderately complex electrical equipment, testing and debugging, and preparing layouts using CAD. You will evaluate designs, prepare schematics and BOMs, and may travel to customer sites for field support.

Perform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation
Role reports to Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Manager or Principal Electrical Engineer; this position does not directly supervise other employees
This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the office area, the employee’s essential job duties also require the employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing area. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
This role requires the constant use of standard office equipment; visual and mental focus; light lifting may be required in order to inspect goods; regular travel is expected.
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
