Position Summary

In the role of Electrical Engineer within the Infra electrical engineering team, you will safely energize equipment, meet critical milestones, and provide commissioning and engineering support. You will also assist in the development of maintenance plans and facilitate the handover of systems to operational ownership.

Role And Responsibilities

• Substation Engineering - end-to-end design review, QA/QC, commissioning, energization and sustaining 138kV Electrical Substation - Protection & Controls - Utility Coordination.
• Electrical Modeling (ETAP).
• Power Quality Management - sag/swell analysis.
• Power Vaccine - application of continuous improvement principle to harden the site against voltage sag and other power quality issues.
• Mentoring and technical development of junior engineers on staff.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution.
• Knowledgeable in high voltage breakers, power transformers, switchgear and their protections.
• Knowledgeable in automatic transfer controls and backup power generation/paralleling switchgear.
