DPR Construction is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and develop electrical building systems across all project phases in Austin, TX. You will create drawings, specifications, calculations, and models while applying codes and industry standards.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, constructible designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems, supporting construction administration and ongoing professional growth.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and development of electrical building systems throughout all phases of project delivery. Working with increasing independence, this role prepares electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and analytical models while applying engineering principles, applicable codes, and industry standards. The Electrical Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated, constructible solutions for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems. This position supports construction administration, contributes to technical coordination, and actively develops engineering expertise through continuous learning and professional growth.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Provides technical support and guidance to electrical designers and less experienced engineering staff as assigned. Participates in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical reviews to support team development and engineering consistency.
