Job summary

Robertson, Loia, Roof, Architects & Engineers (RLR) in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design building electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, for K-12, mixed-use and retail projects.

The role requires 3–5+ years of relevant experience, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Occasional travel is expected; strong writing and teamwork skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 3–5+ years related experience.
• Legal status to work in the U.S. required.
• Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge mandatory.

Responsibilities

Robertson, Loia, Roof, Architects & Engineers (RLR) is an established leader in K-12 schools, mixed use, and retail design.RLR is seeking a design professional for the position of Electrical Engineer to work out of our Alpharetta, GA based office.

The position of Electrical Engineer will be involved in building electrical system design; including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

• Responsibilities include: analysis, building code requirement research, equipment selection, load calculations, drafting, and writing specifications.
• Applicant will work closely with other disciplines for coordinating project requirements and meeting client deadlines to provide construction bid documents.
• Applicant should be comfortable working in a team environment and have good writing and communication skills.
• Ideal candidate shall be able to simultaneously work on several projects.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements:

• Potential applicants should have legal status to work in the U.S.
• Qualified applicants should have a BS Electrical Engineering.
• This position requires 3 – 5+ years related experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is mandatory.
