Job description

Responsible for performing electrical systems design for our projects, including power distribution, lighting design, and low-voltage systems design, this individual will work both with other firm staff and directly with clients with a significant potential for career advancement as the firm continues to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems
• Design and analysis of lighting systems
• Design and analysis of low-voltage systems (fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.)
• Complete calculations related to electrical systems
• Use of electrical systems design software
• Production of electrical drawings and specifications
• Review of submittals from contractors
• Response to contractor questions

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of two years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Experience with design of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
• Experience with design software packages (AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software)
• Ability to work effectively with other team members and clients
