Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Aerospace Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical circuits around embedded systems to interface with sensors and actuators
• Integrate peripheral components using I2C, SPI, RS-232/422, CAN, and other protocols
• Develop embedded systems with network applications using TCP/IP stack
• Create QA/QC test procedures and collaborate with the test team to automate testing
• Maintain bash scripts for system automation and management
• Validate systems using DMMs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
• Conduct trade studies to inform avionics component selection
• Generate test and flight reports to characterize system performance
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in embedded systems engineering (5+ years preferred)
• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, CAN bus, TCP/IP, SPI, and serial interfaces
• Proficiency in embedded Linux, C/C++, Python, Altium, and MS Office tools
• Strong ability to integrate hardware and software into cohesive systems
• Detail‑oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in stratospheric or extreme environment systems
• Background in avionics, flight systems, or aerospace‑grade embedded platforms
• Familiarity with systems engineering and flight sciences data collection
