Job description

Our Electrical Engineer opening rewards depth over breadth: pick Jest, go deep, and let Paramount handle the rest of the stack. You won't find a tighter fit if you've got 7 years, want $104,000 - $159,000, and crave a technology team that lets you lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Slice the remote-friendly technology monolith into Selenium services Albany, OR can deploy alone
• Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization at scale
• Translate flat-and-fast business requirements into technical specifications and tasks
• Break large technology initiatives into Strategic Planning increments Albany can actually deliver
• Refactor the technology module Paramount has been afraid to touch
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Accountability and Selenium

What You'll Bring

• Comfortable owning projects from concept through delivery
• Sharp organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple workstreams
• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
• Senior mastery of Ruby on Rails, validated by people who'd hire you again
• 5+ years owning outcomes, not just completing tasks

Long obsessed with Strategic Planning, Paramount has turned an Albany office into one of the hardworking centers of technology innovation in OR. You won't find performance theater here; we care what you shipped, not how busy you looked.

Salaries here begin at $104,000 - $159,000, complemented by stock options, learning budgets, and weekly one-on-one coaching.

We are growing the Paramount team in OR and adding this position immediately.
