Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated's Systems Control division is seeking an Equipment Enclosure Housewire Technician to join the Integrated Substation Solutions team. The role involves mounting and wiring electrical components for enclosures, painting, and handling shipping prep in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Candidates should be able to read tape measures, use hand and power tools, perform basic math, and read blueprints and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use hand/power tools.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail/quality oriented/organized.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Mount and/or wire lights, strut, tray, AC/DC distribution panels, battery chargers, switches, conduit and any other Electrical tasks related to Equipment Enclosures.
• Paint as required.
• Perform material handling, shipping preparation and loading/unloading as required.
