Job summary

LHB, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician (Electrical) to join the Energy & Industry Team in the Duluth or Minneapolis, MN office.

You will work with design engineers to process redlines and update electrical drawings in AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with client standards and interfacing with document management systems. Qualified candidates have an associate degree in drafting or related field, knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft 365, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process drawing redlines and update drawings in AutoCAD to create electrical designs.
• Ensure drawings meet client drafting specifications and standards.
• Manage drawings and interface with client document management software.
• Stay updated with drafting software advancements and tools.
• Work in a hybrid environment and in multidisciplinary teams.
