• Ability to lead multiple projects and teams with profitability, schedule, safety, and quality accountability.
• Experience scaling or growing an electrical construction operation; strong business development instincts and Florida market relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the electrical construction division, including operations, project management, field execution, and financial performance.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow the division throughout Central and North Florida while maintaining strong operational and financial performance.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial electrical projects, including healthcare, education, hospitality, mixed-use, distribution/logistics, manufacturing, mission-critical, and other complex facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project management and field leadership teams while assisting with recruiting and building the organization as the division grows.
• Maintain oversight of project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, manpower, change management, procurement, safety, quality, and overall project execution.
• Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams on project pursuits, budgeting, constructability, and project handoff.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and other key clients throughout the market.
• Establish accountability and operational processes that support profitable, sustainable growth.

Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an Electrical Division Manager (Jacksonville, Florida) for a well-established electrical contractor serving the Central and North Florida markets. This individual will be responsible for leading and growing the electrical construction division, with a primary focus on commercial and industrial projects.

Electrical Division Manager Responsibilities

Electrical Division Manager Requirements

• Extensive experience with an electrical contractor managing commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.
• Previous experience in an operations leadership role such as Division Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager, Project Executive, or similar position.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction operations, project management, estimating/preconstruction, field operations, and financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and teams while maintaining accountability for profitability, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Experience developing teams and successfully scaling or growing an electrical construction operation strongly preferred.
• Strong business development instincts and established relationships within the Florida construction market are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
