Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply Partners is seeking an Intern to collaborate with a dynamic team across various departments, providing support and resources while learning about the Electrical Distribution Industry. A college student majoring in Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree is preferred.

The candidate should be eager to learn, ready to work, and aimed at making a big impact in a short period. They will drive our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Qualifications

• Requires high-school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a related field.
• Desire to build a career in Sales, Construction, Engineering or Electrical Distribution.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow associates to learn job duties and customer interactions.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal/external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors and employees.
• Learn best practices to close sales and achieve monthly quotas.
• Research accounts, identify key players and support outreach.
• Receive, verify, and stock products used in the electrical industry.
• Review orders, select items, and prepare for transport.
• Provide loading/unloading support as needed.
• Follow processes and safety guidelines as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate proactively with management about issues.
