Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) in Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level Electrical Designer to develop core electrical design skills under guidance. The role focuses on power distribution, lighting, grounding, and fire alarm tasks, with hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.

You will model components in Revit, assist with project setups, coordinate with engineers, and participate in meetings to understand project requirements and design standards at HED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Revit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical components and systems in Revit (panels, lighting fixtures, receptacles, conduits).
• Execute project setups in Revit.
• Design, layout and coordinate electrical equipment within a room/plan.
• Collaborate with project team and lead engineers to understand requirements.
