Job summary

EXP is seeking an Electrical Designer/Engineer in Atlanta to join a Mission Critical team. You will produce construction documents, set up drawings, and lead a multidisciplinary, electrically focused team within project budgets and schedules.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET), 4+ years of experience, and strong AutoCAD with Revit a plus. Arc Flash studies knowledge and EIT on track to PE are valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 4+ years of experience.
• EIT on track to become a PE.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience with Arc Flash Studies using EasyPower or SKM Power Tools.
• Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Mission Critical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of production team on specific projects.

In this role, you will be a part of the Mission Critical team, of the, based in Atlanta, Georgia (Sandy Springs Office).

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Responsible for production of construction documents from initial design to bidding, under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Responsible for drawing setup and design documentation.
• Responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects
• Lead multi-disciplinary team for electrically focused project
• Perform coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
• Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules.

What Your Experience Looks Like

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 4+years of experience.
• EIT on track to become a PE.
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Revit experience is a plus
• Experience with using EasyPower or SKM Power Tools for Arc Flash Studies
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Mission Critical experience is a plus
