Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer for a contract-to-hire role in Conroe, TX. The ideal candidate will create detailed AutoCAD drawings for electrical builds, upgrades, and client specifications, while maintaining CAD standards and learning client equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical required.
• Experience with 2D design for electrical systems.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities

• Create and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD for projects.
• Track and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain CAD standards and templates.
• Read and analyze blueprints and plans.
• Produce accurate drawings promptly and independently.
• Evaluate designs for constructability and material usage.
