Job summary

Bath Group, LLC is seeking an Electrical Designer II for an in-office role at our El Paso, TX office. The position involves producing electrical system drawings and specifications for commercial, municipal, educational, and industrial facilities, under supervision of experienced designers/engineers.

Responsibilities include translating hand drawings to AutoCAD/REVIT, reading and interpreting designs, and delivering accurate, to-scale drawings while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Experience creating plans from mark-ups.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job description

This is an in-office position out of our El Paso office. Bath Group, LLC does not wish to fill this position remotely.

Bath Group, LLC is seeking a Electrical Designer II with 2-3 years of electrical design experience to join the team. This individual will work under the supervision of experienced designers/engineers in the electrical consulting industry to produce electrical system drawings and specifications for commercial buildings, municipal buildings, educational buildings and industrial facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into AutoCAD and REVIT (Preferred).
• Read, evaluate, and interpret designs and drawings.
• Provide accurate, detailed, and to scale drawings.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Not all work is individual, as you could be working with a team of other technicians or design engineers.
• Work is project-based and can involve working to tight deadlines and providing updates or changes to plans last minute.
• You may also be required to work on multiple projects at once.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
• Working Knowledge of AutoCad, REVIT (Preferred)
• Clear understanding of scaling
• Able to read plans
• Capable of creating plans from mark-ups
• Familiar with Excel
• Familiar with Adobe Acrobat
• Familiar with Microsoft Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to follow instruction and perform task given with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge and direct design experience with Electrical design
• Work from architectural plans and base files to produce engineering construction documents in AutoCAD or Revit
