Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer to craft CAD layouts for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems in advanced facilities. You will use AutoCAD and Revit MEP to produce 2D/3D models and deliver complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.

The role offers geographical flexibility within the U.S. with a preference for candidates in specific locations; remote work is possible for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of electrical design experience.
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with NEC helpful.

Responsibilities

Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you’ll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Our designers are responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads and form the core of our electrical delivery team. Enjoy geographical flexibility within the U.S, with a strong preference for candidates residing in Tempe, AZ, Moon Township, PA, or Portland, OR. Qualified candidates can be considered for remote work.

Here’s what you'll need

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of electrical design experience
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Two-year Associate’s degree in relevant field
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements
• At least 2 years of semiconductor experience

The base salary range for this position is $131,010.00 to $86,600.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
