Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Design Coordinator in Texas, to support design, coordination, and project delivery for building projects. You will work closely with owners, review documents for cross-discipline conflicts, and help develop electrical solutions from concept through completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Architectural Eng with Electrical emphasis, 2+ years in electrical design, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power. EIT progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Eng with Electrical emphasis.
EIT path; may start as Coordinator until registered.
2+ years designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for buildings.
Sustainable design/LEED experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop recommendations with owners.
Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment.
Provide contract administration with field inspections and conflict resolution.
Lead small to mid-size projects as needed.
Supervise Electrical CAD Technicians and coordinate with architecture/other disciplines.
Perform other duties as needed.
