Qualifications
The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in project management but also be deeply knowledgeable about electronics and hardware design. They must be able to understand design issues and coordinate projects to ensure they are on time.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of hands‑on design and development experience with military hardware preferred.
Design PLD or FPGA, electronic schematic diagram, PCBs, test prototype and verify compliance with design requirements
Proficiency in various aspects of electronics systems, including analog, digital, mixed‑signal processing, control systems, sensors, microprocessors, microcontrollers.
Competent in schematic capture using industry‑standard tools such as Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, and Verilog.
Skilled in the creation of essential product documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Test Requirement Documents (TRD), and manufacturing instructions.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
PLD or FPGA designs, electronic schematic diagrams, and PCB layouts, followed by the testing of prototypes and ensuring their compliance with design requirements. Developing custom circuit designs and architectures, while maintaining comprehensive internal documentation.
Interpreting technical requirements and translating them into actionable design solutions.
Generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and pricing sheets, as well as developing Test Requirement Documents (TRD).
Active participation in Technical Program management meetings and effective communication of technical issues with customers.
Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned by the Shared Resources Department Manager and Program Manager.
