Job summary

Interstates is seeking an Design Services intern to support electrical design and construction tasks. You will gain hands-on experience and work with seasoned professionals, developing an electrical construction vocabulary while contributing to real projects in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, design decisions in InterTrak, and drafting drawings using 2D/3D software. Travel may be required and collaboration with engineers and field teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years electrical experience or education; pursuing an engineering degree.
• Drafting degree from a technical college will be considered.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and review information representing the project scope.
• Record design decisions in InterTrak to facilitate drawings and equipment specs.
• Create 2D/3D electrical drawings communicating project scope to contractors.
• Communicate project updates clearly with team members and clients.
