Job summary
Interstates is seeking a Design Services intern to support electrical design and construction activities. You will gain hands-on experience with real projects and work alongside seasoned professionals on data collection, design decisions, and drafting tasks.

Qualifications
- 0-4 years of electrical experience or education
- Pursuing an engineering degree or drafting focus
- Willingness to learn electrical design and construction workflows
Responsibilities
- Collect data and review information representing the scope of the project
- Record design decisions in InterTrak to facilitate drawings and equipment specs
- Draw electrical diagrams using 2D/3D drafting software to communicate scope
- Provide clear professional communication with team and clients on updates
- Travel to job-sites or shop and collaborate with craft or manufacturing teams
- Support project teams and promote the Interstates brand
- Adhere to policy and applicable laws in all tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
