Job summary

Galloway & Company offers an internship opportunity focused on gaining experience in architectural and electrical design within a collaborative team environment. You will participate in design calculations and coordination with internal disciplines to support real projects.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, exposure to multiple in-house disciplines, and weekly training through the Interns on the Rise program, helping you grow professionally in the A/E industry.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or Master program.
• Pursuing an Architectural or Electrical degree.
• Knowledge of Revit, Adobe products, or Google SketchUp is a plus.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical design calculations such as low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunications systems, etc.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other internal disciplines on projects.
• Coordinate projects with other disciplines and project consultants, while applying standard practices and techniques.
• Adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a series of related and detailed steps of processes.

Typically, the estimated starting hourly rate for this internship is $25.00.
