Job summary

Stryker Medical division is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer to design and develop electrical circuits for medical devices used in acute care. You will work on patient handling and care equipment, from research to product launch, partnering with upstream marketing and direct customer interactions.

You will review designs, modify code, and support prototypes while collaborating across manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR Computer Engineering.
• 0+ years of work experience.
• Circuit design - analog and digital.
• Programming in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience with LTSpice or equivalent.
• Experience with general lab tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems for medical devices.
• Coordinate engineering changes and complete documentation per quality system.
• Review and modify C/C++ code to support product functionality.
• Apply electrical system and circuit test methods to evaluate designs.
• Build and support prototypes and conduct bench testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze and test designs for EMC, reliability, safety, manufacturability, testability.
• Support field investigations and customer site visits when needed.
