Job summary

HMB LINTEC marine GmbH in Buxtehude near Hamburg is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (m/w/d) to independently design electrical systems and circuits for our crane systems, contribute to project execution and support commissioning with the team. The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc./M.Sc.

in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, has EPLAN experience, knowledge of Machinery Directive, and fluency in English. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field.
• EPLAN knowledge.
• Experience with the Machinery Directive and DNV.
• Experience with common electrical hardware (sensors, actuators, etc.).
• Experience with common electrical software and communication protocols (CANopen, Profibus, etc.).
• Willingness to travel and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Independent design of circuits, systems & control systems.
• Coordination with production, quality assurance & purchasing.
• Commissioning of the developed electrical systems together with the team.
• Programming and parameterization of control software (TIA Portal / TwinCAT).
• Support with installation and assembly work where required.

Electrical Design Engineer (m/w/d) Elektrotechnik

HMB LINTEC marine is a long-established engineering and service company with an office, warehouse and a small workshop in Buxtehude near Hamburg. We develop, build, maintain and repair crane and lifting systems that operate in some of the most demanding environments in the world – built to work where others can't. Our team of around 50 colleagues works together on-site every day – well-coordinated, cross-disciplinary and proud of what we build together. Our subsidiary, HMB LINTEC marine Polska, based in Gdańsk, Poland, further strengthens our presence and support capabilities in the region.

For our team we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer, based in Buxtehude. You will independently develop and design electrical systems and circuits for our crane systems, actively contribute to project execution and cross-functional coordination, and support the commissioning of the products you develop together with the team.
