Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I for an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Simsbury, Connecticut. This role will support electrical circuit design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and technical deliverables throughout the product-development lifecycle.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, selecting components, supporting design verification, and performing schematic capture and PCB design.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience designing analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuits.
• Component-selection experience.
• Design-verification exposure.
• Schematic capture and/or PCB-layout exposure.
• Foundational knowledge of circuit-analysis techniques.
• Hands-on electronic testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements.

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer I for an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Simsbury, Connecticut. This role will support electrical circuit design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and technical deliverables throughout the product-development lifecycle.

Job Logistics

• Location: Simsbury, Connecticut
• Work Model: Onsite.
• Tools/Tech: Altium Designer 20+ preferred; LTspice or equivalent; oscilloscopes; digital multimeters; power supplies.

Day to Day

• Design analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuits
• Select electrical components
• Support design verification
• Perform schematic capture and/or PCB design
• Use circuit-simulation and engineering-analysis tools

Compensation

Compensation: Salary: $85,000 to $110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
