Job description

Mattur builds advanced energy and power systems, including hybrid diesel generators, wind systems, and custom electronics. We are seeking an early‑career Electrical Design Engineer excited to design mixed‑signal, digital, and power electronics and get hands‑on with real hardware. This role is onsite in Arizona and works closely with senior engineers to bring designs from concept through prototype and into production.

What You’ll Do

• Design mixed‑signal circuits, including sensors, ADCs, and filters
• Support digital interfaces for MCUs and FPGAs
• Contribute to power electronics design and testing with mentorship
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or similar tools
• Perform board bring‑up and debugging using scopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools
• Write small Python or MATLAB scripts to support testing and validation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during prototype builds

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships, co‑ops, or academic projects acceptable)
• Interest in mixed‑signal and digital circuit design
• Basic experience with PCB design and hands‑on lab debugging
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
• Self‑motivated, learns quickly, and works well in a small team

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to high‑voltage systems, DC‑DC converters, or FPGA work
