Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our advanced metrology and inspection tool development team. You will contribute to analog, mixed-signal and digital design, and collaborate with system engineers to define electrical specifications.

Responsibilities include PCB design from schematics to manufacturing, sensor integration, and testing of subsystems with a focus on signal and power integrity. Relevant experience with OrCAD and ECAD tools is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience with OrCAD and electronic simulation tools.
  • Experience in Analog, Mixed Signal and Digital design, ADCs, DACs, DC-DC, OP Amplifiers and sensors.
  • Experience in low noise analog; instrumentation high voltage design is a plus
  • Full cycle of PCB design from Schematics through Layout to Manufacturing.
  • Understanding electronic fundamentals (Signal integrity, Power integrity, EMI/EMC etc.)
  • Eager to learn from our outstanding engineer’s experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of electrical engineers with expertise in analog electronics, sensors and image acquisition, signal integrity for PCB and cables.
  • Define electrical system/subsystem design specifications with system engineers and other subsystems engineers.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specification and reliability targets.
  • Integrate and test subsystems.
