Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer based in Jefferson City to translate requirements into practical electrical designs and lead projects from concept to production.

You will balance quality, cost, and schedule while collaborating with partners to bring reliable power solutions to life, supporting standard and custom designs and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Distribution transformer design experience (internship experience considered).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience collaborating across teams and functions.
