Actalent seeks an Electronics/Electrical Design Engineer to translate avionics design requirements into high-quality analog and digital circuit board designs. You will own the full lifecycle from component selection to layout, simulation, documentation, and test procedures for CCAs used in aerospace systems.
Responsibilities include selecting aerospace-grade components, performing simulations, creating detailed schematics and layouts, and ensuring compliance with FAA and aerospace standards.
This role focuses on translating complex design requirements into high-quality analog and digital circuit board designs for avionics products. You will own the full design lifecycle, including component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation, and development of test procedures, ensuring that all solutions meet stringent aerospace and regulatory standards.
This is an onsite role with a MondayFriday schedule. The position involves a balance of approximately 60% desk-based design and documentation work and 40% time on the floor supporting hardware, production, or test activities. The role is not customer facing, but you may interact with suppliers to address technical and component-related questions. There are no direct reports associated with this position. You will work with modern electronic design tools and standard office software in a professional engineering environment focused on aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment.
This is a Permanent position based out of Clearwater, FL.
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
This is a fully onsite position in Clearwater,FL.
