Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager, Site Deployment - Electrical Design Assurance.

This role focuses on providing operationally driven electrical review for new data center builds and major expansions across the North America portfolio. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Site Operations to ensure designs are operable, safe, and aligned with long-term operational needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations, electrical engineering, commissioning, or mission-critical delivery.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and safety requirements.
• Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specs, submittals, and commissioning documents.
• Ability to identify operability, maintainability, reliability and lifecycle risks in design packages.
• Strong communication skills to articulate operator concerns to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Represent Site Deployment for electrical design assurance across campuses and expansions.
• Participate in design page-turn reviews and provide operator-focused comments from concept through IFC.
• Review electrical design packages, diagrams, sequences of operation for operability and safety.
• Evaluate submittals, equipment selections, and proposed changes for maintainability and resilience.
• Support RFI responses, commissioning strategies, and turnover readiness with cross-functional teams.
• Capture lessons learned and feed them into future electrical design standards.
