Boeing Defense, Space & Security is hiring an Associate/Experienced Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The role is 100% onsite, with a 1st shift schedule and requires a BS in engineering or related field, plus 2+ years (Associate) or 5+ years (Experienced) of relevant experience.

Security clearance is preferred. The candidate will develop and validate designs for electronic products, support lifecycle activities, and collaborate across engineering disciplines

• Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
• Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
• Works under general direction.

Role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate/Experienced (P2 or P3) Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah.

Work Arrangement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Associate Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience
• Experienced Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience.
• Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience.
• Previous data encryption algorithm design experience.
• Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience.
• Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics).
• Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications.
• Current active clearance is preferred.
