FLANDERS Inc. in Evansville, Indiana is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician II to assemble routine to moderately complex control panels, wire panels, and assist with on-site installation.

The role may also involve repairing electrical components and requires adherence to safety procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship. You will read electrical layouts, lay out enclosures and components, and collaborate with Engineers, Designers, Foremen and senior Technicians to

Qualifications

Experience assembling and wiring electrical control panels.
Ability to read and interpret electrical layout drawings and diagrams.
Proven teamwork and communication with engineers, foremen and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Assemble routine to moderately complex control panels.
Read and interpret electrical layout drawings and diagrams to determine panel layout and wire placement.
Layout enclosures, back panels, and components per drawings with team input.
Assemble and mount components to enclosure and back panels after approval.
Print wire labels and create/engrave panel tags.
Install and wire basic to moderately complex controls per drawings.
Perform continuity and function tests of control panels and fix issues with team help.
Prepare finished assemblies for shipment, including wrapping and strapping to skids.
Assist with tests and repairs of drives, contactors, circuit breakers, encoders and tach generators.
Observe safety procedures and maintain clean, safe workspace.
