Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on assembler for manufacturing operations. You will assemble control panels, wire components, and perform soldering and labeling tasks to complete electrical assemblies.

Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and finishing panels, with a focus on quality and adherence to BOMs. Day shift, full-time position with steady, long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling control panels or similar electrical assemblies.
• Attention to wiring, soldering, and adherence to specifications.
• Ability to read and follow BOMs and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assembles control panels per specifications, including back plate setup and wiring.
• Kits production work orders from BOM, cuts wires, crimps, and covers.
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs control panels.
• Programs circuit boards and firmware components as needed.
• Fabricates enclosures and applies labels; assists in finishing tasks.

Job description

This individual would be supporting the manufacturing operations by fabricating and/or assembling, inspecting, and packaging components for control panels.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assembles control panels according to specifications, includes back plate set up, wiring, modifying, enclosing, and packaging of control panels and parts.
• Kits production work orders by cutting wires, installing crimps, cutting din rail, cutting wire tray/cover and pulling parts from bill of materials.
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs control panels.
• Programs circuit boards, firmware chips, and logic devices.
• Fabricates protrusions in fiberglass, metal and plastic enclosures with drills, plasma cutter, CNC
• Router, various pneumatic tools, etc.
• Assembles complex enclosures and electrical components.
• Make labels using printers and engravers.
• Cuts, drills, grinds, and bends various material for assembly of control panels.
• Solders various electrical components and control panels.
• Watches for and catches BOM (bill of materials) errors and informs lead tech when found.
• Various other job duties may be assigned or required.
