Penn Aluminum International LLC is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to support the startup and operation of a new aluminum extrusion facility. You will install, commission, and maintain PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network systems to ensure reliable production.

The role requires reading electrical schematics and control drawings, coordinating with vendors, and implementing process improvements. The position offers growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in troubleshooting industrial electrical and automation systems.
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or similar.
• Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and automated systems.
• Install, maintain, and modify PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, motion control, and industrial networks.
• Diagnose equipment failures using drawings, software tools, and test instruments.
• Assist in upgrades, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, ladder logic, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during installations and major repairs.
