Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an E&C Technician based in Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical power circuits, control and automation systems, and associated equipment across pipelines, compressor stations, and terminals.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, I&M checks, safety and environmental compliance, and mentoring teammates. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience and be prepared for on-call

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in job related technical training or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of National Electric Codes preferred.
• Experience with control and automation systems in pipeline or processing environments.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment; document duties.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliaries.
• Conduct I&M checks on control systems; identify and report safety/environmental concerns.
• Comply with all standards, procedures, regulatory and tariff requirements; support operational excellence.
• Mentor coworkers; oversee third-party work as needed; maintain switchgear and power distribution; perform analytical testing.
