Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer in Omaha, Nebraska to support maintenance and capital projects by designing, developing, and implementing electrical and control systems. You will lead AutoCAD drawing creation, oversee construction, and evaluate work from internal teams and external service providers to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

• Requires Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent, Journeyperson Electrician certification, and professional engineering designation is a plus.
• Minimum six (6) years of electrical field experience with hereg supervisory/leadership experience (minimum five (5) years).
• At least one (1) year of project management experience; grain handling or bulk material handling industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls design for maintenance and capital projects.
• Create and review AutoCAD drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical docs.
• Provide technical support for regional maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and company standards; participate in QA reviews.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers; administer contracts and bid packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
