Job summary

1st St. NW Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer who will lead a group of 10–14 engineers and transition from direct technical work to a balanced management/technical role with the current manager.

This direct-hire position offers competitive benefits and requires travel of about 10% for installation and commissioning. A U.S. citizen or permanent resident is required for this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Rockwell PLC experience required.
Experience with industrial control panels.
Ability/interest in mentoring and investing in people.
P.E. license a definite plus.
Ability to travel 10% of the time (installation/commissioning).
U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on system architecture
Oversee design documentation and PLC/HMI programming
Interface with customers and provide engineering leadership
Contribute to testing and commissioning of electrical control systems
