Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group in the Tampa Bay area seeks an Electrical / Controls Engineer to design, develop, and lead power and control systems for large SWRO facilities.

The role requires PLC/SCADA programming (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk), network architecture, and field startup support, with travel to Caribbean sites and a three‑day weekly on‑site schedule.

Experience with 480 V distribution, UL 508A panels, and NFPA 70 compliance is preferred. Spanish language skills a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
Ten years of closely related industrial experience.
Five+ years in controls engineering.
Water industry experience preferred.
PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and lead power and control system projects for SWRO plants.
Program PLC/SCADA, including Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View SE.
Develop electrical diagrams, wiring, and panel layouts.
Procure power system equipment (MCCs, switchgear, VFDs).
Support startups and field troubleshooting.
Coordinate with customer engineers and contractors.
