Job summary

CommTech Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and complete control systems for customer projects. You will collaborate with the engineering team to outline the project and apply electrical controls knowledge, process engineering skills, and PLC/HMI programming.

The role emphasizes safety, client requirement interpretation, and on-site start-up support, with a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to work across multiple locations and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical engineering experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its applications in automated industrial designs.
• Familiarity with basic electrical components used in controls systems (solenoids, beacons, switches).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles.
• Interpret client requirements and address design parameters and problems.
• Provide system installation support and on-site start-up and debugging for hardware and software.
• Communicate project details with managers, construction personnel and customers.
• Ensure compliance with company and site standards and safety reviews.
