Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and automated control systems.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, and automation-related equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and automation projects.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, and industrial control components.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Electrical Controls Engineer

Location: Whitehall, MI

Pay: $35.00–$37.00 per hour

Compensation: Approximately $72,800–$76,960 annually, based on 40 hours per week

• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex equipment problems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
