A leading glass manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design electrical machine controls and systems. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of design and field experience.
Hands-on experience preferred.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to heat, noise, and heights using required PPE.
Responsibilities
Develop prototype control designs using engineering experience.
CAD design of new projects and redesign existing ones.
Design new and revised controls components and assemblies.
Controls programming, checkout, debug, commissioning, and training.
Provide troubleshooting support for manufacturing facilities.
Skills
Strong CAD skills: AutoCAD experience
Strong electrical aptitude
Knowledge of Rockwell PAC's, PLC's, Drives, and Motion
Knowledge of Siemens PLC's, Drives, and Motion
Proficient PC skills in MS Office
Familiarity with basic Networking concepts
Knowledge of PID loops
Knowledge of NEC, UL, and NFPA
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Education
BSEE or BSET degree
